Best generation X5.

I’ve owned all 3 generations. And obviously as time goes on you expect the newer models to be superior. But I just couldn’t be happier with my F15! Having a nicely optioned one helps with that!

I've owned all 3 generations, beginning in 2004 with the LCI 4.4i and then a 4.8is. Then for E70 I had a 30i, 4.8i and 35d. F15...40e and my current 35d.

I love my F15 35d, but for me to date my fav was and still is my 2004 4.8is. It just did everything right!! What a beast it was.

I had a 2005 4.8is as well. Firing up that V8 was beastly! But the newer tech in the F15 with the HUD, radar cruise control and night vision is what does it for me! I would argue that the e53 was maybe the better looking chassis!

Here's my 2004 X5 4.8is. One of my most FAV BMWs, besides our 2003 Z8 Alpina!

I second this. This generation looked so massive and invasive.
