35d Turbo Boost Pressure Sensor

I'm installing the RaceChip GTS into my 35D and it's asking for one more connection that the Ultimate didn't have, a turbo boost pressure sensor. Does anyone have any idea where this is located?

The instruction RaceChip provided shows a VW engine bay.

I just installed mine a couple weeks ago. You have to take the intake off and access it under it. Not difficult, just a little tedious. I can send you pictures if needed.

His car is 35d. Different than 35i.

I think he got the one with App, where it have extra connection.

Yes it does. I have no clue what the benefit is.

Ben - I apparently didn't get the app control on so I'm deciding if it's worth it or not.

Hmm, it could be a new harness kit.
I have yet to receive my stocking order on the Diesel and other engines that I don't have in stock yet.

I have the 35d. Here's where it goes. Follow the letters. A is to the front, B is towards the back....boost pressure sensor.

Mine just "A" harness for ComRail in front of engine . Funny thing i've sent pics of my Ultimate RC and after been told "you have Pro2"

I've attached the pictures.

On the GTS Black, you have the ability to adjust the power directly on the unit. When I set it to 6, I immediately got a CEL. However I did get a CEL on 5 after a week of using it.

I pulled out the harness since I really want to get the app control version.

With mine 2017 35 d i'am getting this error (cel)


The same Ultimate didn't give any CEL's on mine previous 2014 35d (E2 mode)

The harness does not relate to the app control.

I am having the same issue with the Turbo Boost connection. I am not getting any CEL and the app appears to work well.

Thanks for this. My sensor is covered by extensive plastic covers that are not easy to remove. Accordingly, I am running the RaceChip without the Turbo Sensor connectors attached to anything.

So far it is working great and is running better than my previous Ultimate. Having the ability to turn the system on and off via blue tooth is great.

Is there any danger in running it without the turbo sensor connectors attached as long as I don't get a CEL? I can't get anyone from Race Chip to respond to me.

Try to get it install whenever you can.
There should be a reason why they add that sensor.

Was able to connect without removing the manifold. Its tight but you can reach the sensor.

Car is much quieter with the Turbo Boos Sensor connection on. Again, you can connect without removing anything. You just have to peel back the soft plastic cover.

So far the RaceChip GTS is working far better than my Ultimate and no CEL.

Got them plenty in stock, with or without App from RS, GTS, and GTS Black.
