Yes, that is the 6WA Extended Cluster. Yes, the M50d logo can be coded:

KOMBI / BMW_LOGO / MPM - gives m performance start up animation in your cluster.



KOMBI / MPM_ENABLE / aktiv - gives the LOGO you see in the tachometer.

KOMBI / MPM_LOGO / pick whatever type of LOGO you want to show up in the tachometer from the list - his is coded as X5, so that's why you see X5M50D. In the options, you will see: bmw, mpm, x5, x6, and something else or maybe that's it - I haven't looked at it in a while.





Also, the 6WA Cluster during the day time is illuminated WHITE rather the ORANGE you see there at night as shown in his picture. This can actually be coded to stay white, but you will lose the automatic night time display brightness feature of the navigation so it will always be in Day Time mode like the Instrument cluster if you choose to code the white only. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=662851



Another code is for those RED lines you see in the bottom of the cluster in the digital area. You can code them to be GREY for the 6WA Extended Cluster.

just tried to code but my options are limited
KOMBI/BMW_LOGO: only have mpm or bmw as choices (was bmw I changed to mpm)
KOMBI/MPM_LOGO: again only mpm or bmw (left as mpm)



KOMBI/MPM_ENABLE: changed to aktiv
No change thus far but probably needs to wait a bit anyway, got a touch sweaty when I started getting a service message on upload but that cleared up

Maybe only later built have different logo options? Or do I have to change the Werte value (sets at 01 for both BMW and MPM Logo)?

We can continue any further questions in the coding thread. I actually tried the coding above and don't recall if it ever added a symbol for me, but the BMW_Logo did activate M550D animation when I set it to "mpm" - obviously this shows that the 6WB is a Euro cluster so I ended up just changing it back to "bmw."

Here is the code for it (it may no longer exist in the new coding files):

KOMBI / HINTERGRUND_FARBE_TAG / change from Orange to Grau (Grey)

If this does not work, you will have to completely code the Instrument Cluster to Day time mode always (I personally like this regardless, but I don't think it works for 6WB digital display since it's meant for 6WA Extended clusters):

KOMBI / DIM_NACHT_EIN / Werte = FF

Hi, currently I'm getting around 12 l/100km (u can do the math for Mpg). This is still break in period and I haven't really pushed it. It is also mostly city driving during winter conditions and around 0 degrees celsius. I will do a short trip (150km) tomorrow and will will share the result.

Thanks, its alcantara headliner in antracite. It is an option here.

Btw, just did my first trip out of the city and got 8.7 l/100km using mostly ecopro mode and drivin with speeds around 100-130kph. Was expexting better results actually.

Nope,I thought that you can get either the alantara lining or the moonroof, but not both. So i decided that there are less things that can break with the lining and went for it

I posted this on the coding thread with no joy. I first seen these changes in this thread and hoping someone can help. I have the 6WA instrument cluster.

I am struggling to get the m performance and X5 M50D logo to appear on the instrument cluster on my 2014 f15 M50D. I have updated the firmware to 18-03 PSDZData which I believe is latest. E-sys does not show 50d in the list also doesnt matter what logo I choose nothing appears. E-sys confirms the coding was applied successfully.

This is the only coding feature I am having issues with.

Any clues???
