BMW Service 60K Soon

Okay, getting close to 60K miles on my CPO 2014...

I have always look at what's recommended vs required at each service interval.

What do you guys think it's necessary for 60K? Purchased the car at 49K CPO and everything needed at 50K was performed

One thing I do want them to look at was the brake pedal "Squeak". not actual brakes but the internal brake pedal has slight vibration/squeak when step on it. I saw there was a service bulletin on it few months ago regards to something loose/rubbing... can anyone point me to the right post? I like to print that out and show it to my advisor.

2014 50i,

91000KM

changed spark plugs $420 CAD
brake pad and rotor $1250 CAD
micro filter $90 CAD

for all 2014 50i Owners, please check your connecting line, if it is plastic(doesn't last long since hot air goes through the line), please change it to this updated part 11158647298. i found the line was leaking when lift the engine cover.

Have you changed other fluids? Like the transfer case, differential or transmission oil?

Except for the air vent lines, any other problems occurred during your ownership?

Thanks.

i guess the fluids can be changed under scheduled maintenance, no major issues during ownership.

besides the connecting line, i changed the left tie rod.

BMW tech told me the left tie rod bend while doing the alignment , probably hit the pothole. quote for 650(parts and labour) +tax and 199+tax(alignment).
i actually paid 660 for all at a local shop.

so far so good for 2014 50i.

Glad to hear no major issues. Have you brought any extended warranty for your car?

And all those fluid I mentioned are “lifetime” based on bmw, so no maintenance schedule from dealer.....
