Agreed, If money doesn't matter ill always get the //M product of any series. The value is just better than regular BMWs.


And since you get most things standard, its a no brainer. Especially nowadays with newer cars that have many characters. Its no longer that M series ride harsher.. etc just chose the mode with button and enjoy a comfy ride home!

Well I made this v6 for v8 trade from an Acura MDX though. MPG on the MDX was consistently 15.5 for years of city driving and barely reaching 18 on the highway. Now with the X5 V8 I actually get slightly more MPG (+1-2 mpg with auto stop)without the sloppy suspension, weaker engine, and no turbo kick. For all the Auto Stop Start gripes, to me it just saves those gas droplets for when I get to accelerate past everyone. Now when it comes to maintenance, the MDX will be laughing at me while I cry at the dealer or after cutting my knuckles trying to get into that packed engine bay.
