Finally Installed My Eibachs!

After lots of research, skepticism, questions, self doubt and search for a reliable installer I did it!

I have to say that it is so far the best thing I've done for my X5. It feels and handles so much better than stock but feels just as good if not better.

I'm so happy I finally took that step! If you are on the fence, DO IT....

Springs $300
Installation $640
Tip $20
Small indie shop in New Rochelle, NY
Extremely trustworthy.

Are you lowered guys having any issues with alignment and tire wear? Especially those who've jumped to 21" and 22" wheels?

After having all the axle issues I had with lowering my XI e46 I'm so afraid to even consider doing this as much as I want to.
I dumped far to much money into repairs caused by lowering my e46 I don't wanna go through that all over.

I think the Eibach springs is tested with factory dampers. Hopefully no problems, but only time will tell.

Nice! Let's see some photos.

Also, installation seems awfully expensive.

Congrats!!!
I think even after 6 Eibach thread, someone will ask again and not convinced, and started a new thread.
Looking forward for more threads and asking for pictures on before and after.

Hard to find a decent price and someone you can trust in New York. I trust the mechanic that did the job. He has proven himself to be fair and honest several times throughout the years.

My daughter has a 2007 VW Jetta and the trans was slipping. We brought the car to him thinking it needed a new transmission. Turned out to be a bad cable that was shorting out. This was 2 years ago and the car is still running with no issues. He could have charged anything he wanted cause we did not know better.

I trust he did not take me to the bank on the installation price. That price includes the installation of all 4 springs and the tax.

I'll post two Picts once I figure out how to do it.

You did not over pay because the confidence you have with the job being done right is priceless.

I believe it has to do with engine model. I know the springs for the xdrive50 has a different part number than the xdrive30-3.5. You also have to take into consideration if you have the third row with air springs in the rear. Not sure what model number that may be. I would reach out to Ben from RGsport

They will fit both. My car is M-Sport with Adaptive suspension, the ride is good in sport mode... But I feel if the car have stranded suspension the ride will be on the bouncy side.

Not bouncy at all with eibachs. I have standard suspension and the ride feels really good. If you look at RGsport website or tirerack the part number is different for the xdrive3.5 and the xdrive50

Will try again tonight. I wasn't able to get to the car before dark yesterday.

Just realized this member has the same setup with pics posted already.

Not sure what year your X5 is. This will help with search results.

Without self leveling for sdrive35i:
