Does anybody know if they make these in South Carolina, ship it over on a boat, and then do all the testing?

Or can they basically build any car in Germany, test it, and then email the PDF of schematics to SC to begin real production?

They are built at Plant Spartanburg. South Carolina pre-production models are often flown from the Greer/Spartanburg Airport to Munich on a cargo plane.

Those kidney grills...
No amount of m performance grills are going to fix that oversized look.

Cool to know. Makes sense they'd fly them; the stevedores on ships could probably be paid off to share pics with auto publications, not to mention the extra weeks of transit.

That sounds like either the 5.0i or X5M (probably too soon)?

The B58 is known to make incredible noises, especially in the G01 X3 M40i.

F15 EOP (end of production) is in July. G05 SOP (start of production) begins in August. Launch will be this Fall.

the overall shape looks very similar to the MB GL/GLS class, a bit taller, more boxy and less curves
