2014 X5 Air Suspension
Just got back from a vacation and rear suspension was low, went back up once I started; do I need to have my air suspension serviced?

Mine is at the dealer right now getting the air bags replaced for the same reason. SA said it's pretty common.

Funny you posted this today. My wife’s 2014 X5 with 63k miles was parked in the driveway for an hour or so tonight, when I came back out the rear end was low. Leveled out after starting up and it hasn’t repeated when being parked a few times since. I’ll be calling the dealer tomorrow, luckily it’s under CPO warranty
Until 100k. |

What's the cost and how many miles have you done?

Wow that's low mileage for such a major fault
To finance it yourself would of been thousands! Something I will look out for in the future. Thanks

Not really. I think you can purchase the airbags for about $300 and I've heard the installation isn't very difficult.

To extend the life of your airbags, wash them. No, seriously, abrasion from the accumulated dirt is #1 reason for rubber wear.
Compressor and distro block failure is another story, obviously. |

You can replace them on your own. It's not hard or terribly expensive

My airbags didn't fail, but my pump did. Would have cost $1500 with labor if I didn't have warranty.
