2014 X5d GPS Screen Help

All of a sudden my GPS screen is showing just two shades of blue. when I first bought this car the GPS had several colors like beige, gold, red for Interstates, etc. I went into the screen colors and have it on "Classic", and on "Automatic". Any ideas??? Thanks.

I think you have the map in traffic view overlay. It’s an option which makes the background map grey / blue so the colours for traffic flow stand out.

Yes, that's how I keep all my bmw navs set up. It helps the traffic colors and gets rid of the yellow/red(not traffic) highway lines.
