Replaced 20" Run-Flats with Non Run-Flats
With 4k on the odometer and a factory spare in the back, it was time to get rid of the 20" run-flats.
Just put on 4 Continental ExtremeContact DW, and they're much quieter than the run-flats. So far, I haven't noticed any difference in the handling. I do have DHP, but don't know if that would help compensate for the different in tires. Since my 2015 X35d M Sport is leased, I'll put the run-flats back on when I turn the car in. This totally avoids having to pay to replace the run-flats, which run $600 per tire at a minimum. |

Over the past 30 days, we've had over 10 inches of rain here, and the DWS06 worked great - even being 275 and 315's. Great tires.

I had Dunlop RFTs from the factory. Lasted 26K miles and just replaced them with the DWS06s. What a difference they make in ride quality. These Dunlops were just noisy road tires. Am really happy I went with the DWS.

I swapped the runflats with the DWS06 first chance I got.

I have the Pirelli RF and they seem to ride great. Was thinking of switching to DSW when they go bad.

I ran all season General SUV tires on my Audi Q7 V8 s-line and never had issues over past 7 years. Long Island NY. Got me through a few of the near two feet snow storms. Might be that quatrro is a better AWD system than X drive.
