Those with 20" Stock - What tires did your car come with?

Hi All,

I just noticed something on my 2016 diesel with the 20s - it came with Perreli P Zeros for the tires.

My e70 came with Dunlops if I recall correctly.

Are these the normal factory tires now?

Just so you know BMW has several different "approved" brand of tires. What comes on your car depends on what the factory has available at the time of the build.

Interesting. I'm fairly glad I got Perelli then. I like them so far.

And P-Zeros are still summer only tires, correct?

Correct, they're listed as Max Performance Summer on tirerack's site.

Interesting that there were different tires. Is one better than the other?

I'm not complaining about the grip provider by the DUNLOP tires, but they have started singing (making noise around 70-85km/h), which makes we want to try another brand next time around. Still have 5.5mm profile on mine so it will be next year.

sgtpeper My M Sport came with Conti Sport Contact 5's. I've done just over 22k miles since May '14 delivery and swap them round with Pirelli P Zero's Winters for ~ 4 months.
I have just had to buy a complete set of four so the wear on the Conti's is <impressive.

Continental Sports - M sport edition. Indifferent on them, probably wear quick, not many options in this width...275 - 315

I also have Dunlops and although noisy.. it grips very well.

I have exactly 10,000 miles on them so far and the treads are still in good condition.. I could probably get another 9,000 - 10,000 miles out of them..

Here are some pics I took today during a BMW meet which shows the tires pretty clearly.
