Unfortunately, I have another Dr. appointment this Saturday at 10:30 AM and it will be a quick in/out visit so I can make it around 11:30 AM or so... I guess the best way to get there from Jersey is going through staten Island?

How long will you guys stick around this Saturday @Alan l., twelve535i, aw305, geroz1?

Going through SI is your best bet.

If I don't get there until 10-10-30 I will def. stick around until at least noon. Move your appointment earlier!

I'm fine for Sunday. Might be better. I can make it early to snap some shots and take a look at the field but need to be out by 11

If most of the X5 guys are going on Sunday I don't mind going that day instead of Saturday. Can you guys reply which day you are going?

You are one of the main reasons I plan on attending this meet. I really wanted to check out the mods on your X5, because I like what I see in the pics you have posted so far.

Since my X6 will be ready for me before long, I was hoping to check out the X5s showing up to this meet for some inspiration.

Let me know what day is best for you, and all the other X5/X6 owners plan on showing up.

Okay everyone. It's pretty much show time. 2 days of some fun and BMWs. Hopefully the weather holds up for us. Saturday will be cloudy 63, Sunday, Sunny 58.

We are having a good amount of people. I honestly thought we could get to 100. But it looks like 25-35 people for sat and 18-30 for Sunday. Still not bad.

If you have good camera equipment. Please bring it, BUT

I DID GET A VIDEOGRAPHER FOR BOTH DAYS.
$290 for both days for 2.5 hours total plus editing. They will be there from 10:30-11:30. So DON'T BE LATE!!
I will put in $40 towards the video, leaving the balance at $250

Only around $6 ($12) each if 40 (20) people chip in. If you don't want to chip in then thanks for showing up I guess, and I'll pay the rest.

Also, if you are unsure where exactly we are meeting in this huge airfield. Please watch the video I made for everyone.

For Saturday I will be meeting Revsms1 at Ceasars Bay Starbucks around 8:30 AM then heading over to the meet. I will be bringing my kids so I will only stay till about 11.

For Sunday I will be there the Full time 9-12.

Man, I complain about the roads out here, but they're like a baby's bottom compared to all the crags and potholes I saw leading up to the base/park itself!

Lol I mean the field is 85 years old or something with only a few renovations over the decades. It's not as bad as it looks. The actually runway is pretty clear and pothole free. In the winter, it's very fun as well.

And thanks for complimenting the NY accent. I can't hide it. Lol.

The field itself is a given in terms of maintenance. I meant the regular city streets before you entered the park. Unless, of course, you were already inside the complex at the start of the vid. Either way, cool, wide-open venue for a meet. Have fun, stay safe!
