I can't figure out what's wrong with my update this time. I tried 2 different UBC sticks (64GB and 128GB), formatted in either FAT32 and ExFAT as a MAC user, put all the 7 files in the root directory, but still my 2014 528 doesn't detect the USB drive. I got no prompt at all.
I had no problem updating the previous 2 maps with a lifetime code. |

Maybe there are some hidden files that need to be removed from a Windows machine. I don't have a Windows PC, so will need to find one somewhere.

Must be formatted MBR partition table with FAT32. Macs like to format with GPT by default.
In Windows get this app called Rufus to format. Extract directly from archive to the flash drive. Don’t copy to the desktop first or whatever.

When you say help you with it, is it:
A. You'd like to purchase one very cheap, perhaps a lifetime code for under $15 so you'll never have to buy one? or B. Looking for someone to help you remotely code with Esys to your VIN so you can get it for free? |

Check page 3 of this thread, post 54 to be exact. I posted links to a seller on eBay that can get you a lifetime FSC code very quickly. I purchased one recently everything went smooth, don't have to worry about any future FSC code entries during map updates. Totally worth it, good luck.
