469M wheels original color

hi
i found a set for sale on my local classifieds.

the wheels are genuine. all of them have stamped RONAL and part numbers.

what worries me is the color on the side where it connects with tire. all are black and the sets available on ebay are silver.

what do you know about that? do you think they have been repaired and changed the color?

Are they painted? 469s are machined, not painted from a factory. And as far as I remember mine are not silver from the inside, more whitish.

They should be somewhat two toned. The face is silver and the inner edges are a darker Grey.

Don't the original have bmw emblem on the casting?
Do the boxes show bmw labels?
Could just be replicas. If I remember right my 469 replicas were black like that. But the backside looked different than those.

Check our the pics in my album, it has a lot of high-res pics of two sets of OEM 469s. You might be able to zoom in and look for similarities/differences.
