Silly question...

Hello;

Interested in a X5M as Porsche is turning me off due to dealers gouging customers with GT cars...

Is it possible to do an ED w/ the X5M? How does that work if the car is build in the USA--do they ship from the US to Germany to be picked up?

Sorry for the dumb question

Garage List
No ED on BMWs produced in South Carolina. You can do a performance center delivery.

Save the $50k by buying an X5M instead of a Cayenne Turbo S. Then fly to Italy, rent a Ferrari for a week, stay at nice hotels, and eat good food. Then you can tell everyone you own an X5M and traveled Europe in a Ferrari.

Another option is take the $50k saved, add $25k more, then take Euro delivery of a loaded M3/M4 in Europe.

Win-Win

I love Porsche 911s and 918s, most likely own a 911 soon before they all go turbo. There's nothing desirable about a Cayenne, other than you're paying for the brand.

X5M beats the Cayenne Turbo S in acceleration, cornering, braking, design, technology, and creature comfort.

So the choice here is pretty simple unless you're brand loyal to Porsche.

Nothing- but you get a day at the performance school.

As far as discounts go, you should have no problem getting >7% off a new X5M.

Hahah, life is short. Gotta do live like it's your last week alive once in a while. Money can always be made back, not memories.

Not a dump or silly question. Lots of folks here crossed shopped the two.

By most measures the BMW is the superior product...but that may not always be the case.

$50k will get you almost halfway to a nice used Ferrari so just buy both! Hell my X5M is faster than my Lambo to 60 and drives much better, my Ferrari is probably a hair faster than the X5M though and it lets the top come off which the BMW can't, it's a 6 figure blow dryer with a prancing horse lol.

My dealer said performance center delivery was not an option when we bought ours but then again it's also 2,000 plus miles away so it would be a long drive back.

I never really considered the Cayenne Turbo or S model. With the options I wanted in these cars, the total would be around 140-150. Paying the much for a daily driver is silly!
