F15 50i tune options?

New 50i on it's way (just went through Panama Canal on the boat...) and wanted opinions on tuning. I intend to DIY an muffler bypass valve with EVC http://machtschnell.com/exhaust-valv...vc-module.html. What are thoughts on downpipes vs high flow cats? If I get a tune that will take care of the CEL if I go catless. It'll be a daily driver for the family so I don't want it sounding like a boat all the time.

Garage List
I have RaceChip Ultimate on mine. Seems to work well.

As much I love the sounds of exhaust, it gets annoying on road trips.

Do RaceChip Ultimate, open up the tune box, and put your settings to S1=1 (stock - leave this be), S2=E. You'll be really surprised at how fast it becomes. I'm very content with this. If you want a monster, this will do the trick without any CEL issues and maintain a nice quiet cabin in the process.

I would suggest RaceChip Ultimate.
Muffler, I suggest AC Schnitzer for classy sounds.
But if you want an obnoxious sound, just go to a muffler shop to chop off your stock and replace it with resonators.

I would try the RaceChip first , but test the results. I know of 3 n63tu's that did not get a power increase with RC. I tried 2 different RC's directly from RC and gave up. But others have used it and it did increase power. It does very well on my S63tu. You just need to test it to be sure. High quality unit.
