B&O sound retrofit. ASD question

Guys,

I'm about to buy used set from Bang&Olufsen for my X5 3.0D, but the set I found comes with ASD. How would it effect? Am I facing a problem here? Thank you in advance.

I am by no means an expert..

However, it would be safe to assume that if you got B&O for your X5 from an X5 it should all be plug and play, minus the required hardware and coding.

I don't know if it would or wouldn't matter, ASD can be coded to be on or off. I didn't know that the X5 had ASD.

Also the ASD could be including as part of the B&O system but not enabled by default from the factory on the common X5s vs the X5m..

Again, not an expert but just my thoughts...

if you did not get B&O from the factory you're better off buying new speakers for the oem system you have already. it will be much less and iirc BSW sells pnp units. the cost and hassle of retrofitting isn't worth it... especially not if you have the HKL7 premium audio.

I have simplest ever stereo system, without twitters and any amplifier... paaaain
