I have a 2016 X5 50i with 121k miles. Engine does not run. No compression on Driver's side cylinders, good/full compression on passenger side. I bought from auction sight unseen and it was advertised as running/driving so my loss is your win (if you can rebuild). Mechanic told me that oil cooler line broke and appears previous owner continued to drive causing timing to jump and causing catastrophic failure.

Front passenger tire is flat. Will also need 4 tires all around and brakes all around.

If anyone has other general advice with this I'm all ears. Been fighting with auction house for 4-5 months and don't think I'm getting anywhere so time to move on. Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions.+ Asking $5k OBO

Looks like a good deal if you are rebuilding. If you do part out, interested in the headlights.

What a coincidence... I have the exact same X5 in the exact same situation. Except mine was driving fine, then out of nowhere drivetrain malfunction light. No compression needs motor now. Dealer quoted $27k. Mine is also White on Black with the same mileage. How much would it cost to rebuild?
