Data logs show that the inlet helped me maintain 1-2 more psi is the upper rev range so I’ll chalk that up to a win lol. The FTP Inlet I got from EuroKlasse, they should have it on their website. I haven’t tested with the Turner pipe yet but their site shows the increase in CFM so I imagine there’s a bit more flow there. All in the name of keeping the turbo healthy and as stress free as possible.

Installed a Maxton Design rear lip spoiler. Love how it subtly complements the rear of the car.

Logs don't lie, that's great that the inlet is helping you hold boost. Is this the FTP inlet you have?

https://euroklasse.com/collections/b...5i-intake-pipe

Did the inlet bolt up directly to the turbo with no issues? Same with the Turner pipe, it bolts to the inlet pipe as well as the intake side with no modifications? I'm planning out my next few mods with a turbo upgrade on the horizon as well. Very interested to see how your Mosselman install goes.

titanjc , that’s the pipe so you got it. And direct bolt on to the turbo as well as the intake pipe to the inlet. On both the inlet and the intake pipe, there’s some placement grommets that are made for the f10 that don’t quite work on the f15, but I haven’t had a single issue even without being able to use those.

Mosselman goes on next week so the tuning fun begins once again .

sukhk527 , appreciate the feedback on the pipes. I'll keep an eye out for post-turbo install updates, good luck!

Pardon my ignorance but did the F10 inlet attach to the F15 intake pipe? Or did you swap over to an F10 intake pipe before the Turner?

Good question! When I did the inlet initially, I also paired it to an F10 stock intake pipe. Mated right up.

Upgrade week has started and the work is underway. Parts being installed as follows:

- Mosselman N55 EWG Turbocharger
- Funk Motorsport Turbo and Manifold Blankets
- PPE Power ZF8 Billet Transmission Pan
- Liqui-Moly Top Tec 1800 Transmission Fluid
- New OEM Valve Cover + Gasket
- NGK 97506 Spark Plugs
- New OEM Water Pump
- New OEM Thermostat
- Billet Coolant Flange
- Oil change with Motul 5w40 as always

Dropped off this morning at 9am and by the time I returned at 2pm, the gearbox service and oil change were already complete. Turbo apparently requires the subframe to come down a tad despite their best effort so it’s taking longer than planned (of course). Tomorrow afternoon I hope to go back and see the new turbo with blankets installed and I’ll also flash my new base map for the first start up. I’ve tried to do a bunch of maintenance now too so fingers crossed this sets me up for reliable power. Onwards.

This car is the dog! Those turbos look pretty cool. How much power are you expecting?

Upgrade week Day 2. Turbo and Blankets are on, and now on to the top side for all the rest of the maintenance. Also took the time to flash the new base map in preparation for the first start up. Planning on picking it up Friday after giving them a day to shake it down.

I’m aiming for about 100whp gain once we’re dialed in so here’s hoping!

Following closely, this is a very exciting build! I appreciate that you're doing a bunch of preventative maintenance and trying to solve some cooling issues up front, I'm looking at doing the same thing when I pursue my own N55 turbo upgrade later this summer. Keeping a close eye on your results!

Yep that’s the goal! That’ll be enough to keep it reliable and still surprise some people.

on another note, crystalworks will be happy to know that the wider fender flares are on, along with 5mmF/15mmR spacers. Went ahead and did r33_RGSport painted reflectors front and rear too. Had a friend who's an automotive photographer take a few photos the other day.

Could you share where you sourced the fender flares? Looking to potentially add them to my 2017 35i (non M) and I'm interested in finding out if they can be purchased in Space Gray Metallic, or if they would need to be painted after purchase.

These were eBay flares. But after two years they’ve worn in some places where I’m at the point of ordering an OEM set to paint. No place I found to purchase them pre-painted, just pre-primed for painting.

Yep, mine are ebay as well. Mine are holding up well even with my tricky to match paint color mineral white. I think I spent around $350 for prep and paint. I believe they need to be sanded down before paint. I installed them myself.

In retrospect if I had painted them from the start it likely would’ve prevented me having to go this route.

Interesting. Ours are unpainted and still look as the day I put them on. Wonder if that is owed to the ceramic coating done very soon after?
