So guys I am contemplating getting an X5.

The lease deal is on a 2017 X5 35i
All fees, taxes, and even the first month payment is rolled in.

0 money down or out of pocket

So it's 690 a month sign and drive.

Good deal?

Need your help

690 on a regular X5 is no steal at all...

Also this needs to me moved to the X5 forum.

Sticker is $60k or negotiated price is $60k?

For reference, I pay $650/mo on a $69k X5 (10k/yr 36 mo).

But seriously, you'll get much better feedback over on the F15 forums. They're actually fairly active.

I'm having more dialogue here. No one has responded in the other forum.

bmwusa offers a base X5 less than 60k at 2017 at 669 with 5k down plus taxes and DMV which is upfront New York is around 3k. So $669 $8000 out on a car less than 60k. Is not a deal but a car that's 60k with nothing out of pocket i think is a excellent deal.

What year is your X5?

The negotiated price was nearly 10k off the sticker of 60k before rolling back in the taxes and fees.

Wait till the first week of december, holiday cash and a desire of dealers to move inventory before year end.

current deal isnt that great.

You have to know msrp, negotiated purchase price, residual, mf and terms (miles/duration) to really know if you are getting a good deal

FYI, the 60k x5 is going to have limited options. Wait a week or two, you will find a better deal.

I'll tell you the deal I had in 2016. I was in the market for an X5 but my wife was adamant we needed the 7 seater option. There were 10 cars in all of Canada that had that option. Ofcourse I wanted M kit and LED as minimum on top of the 7 seater option. There was a 2015 demo on the lot of a dealer. Black on black with the 21 inch upgraded black wheels. That car had every single option you can think of. B&O, M performance package which bumped the engine output to 320, M aero kit, LED, soft close doors, Napa leather and the list goes on. Sticker on the car was I believe about 98k Canadian dollar. It had 7k kilometers on the clock and was a 2015 so a year old. I got the price down to 83k with No PDI, no delivery charge, no licensing fees and the car was tinted and they gave me a special on the PPF installation. So I saved about 15k off sticker along with avoiding all other dealer charges. I thought this was a great deal. I always think that better deals can be had in the US because of the bigger market volume. Hope this helps.

Mine is a 2016 x35i I picked up just before Christmas last year, so there was about $2k in incentives, I believe (loyalty and option credit). Also maxed out the security deposits to bring down the MF.

It sounds like you've negotiated the price well. I'd just be sure they're not marking up the money factor, which could make a non-negligible difference in the monthly (~$50).

shoot David a buzz (out till Friday) and get a comparison quote or get a comparison quote from another dealer. The more quotes you can get the better idea you can get on the quote your getting.

make sure the whole deal is good also, the selling price in a lease is only a part of the deal. there are a lot of other areas that can add to the overall cost of the deal.

If you feel like its a good deal then its a good deal, if you feel like you can do better keep shopping around till you are satisfied. happy hunting!
