DIY - X5 Badge/Emblem Swap

If you warm the emblems with a heat gun or hair dryer the adhesive should become soft enough for you to just peal them off. I've used this method for all of my cars.

but i cant find x4 emblem in black.

i would like to get grill in black, remove door badges

I'm pretty sure iND will purchase the X4 emblem from BMW directly and paint it for you gloss, chrome black, Matte black for around $100.00. I couldn't find any for my X5 either , so iND was my only solution.

This thread is motivating me to swap the gloss black roundels (front and rear) that I've had sitting in my garage for 4 months.

You can purchase a cheaper X5 emblem from eBay / amazon but these are for E70 X5 and the emblems are bigger. When I ordered with iND, they also didn't have it on their website. I sent a email to inquire about the F15 emblem and they responded with a price.

Are you going to replace the round bmw with a black one and what about the exhaust tips? I've been thinking of making all 3 black on the rear of the x5
