Times sure have changed. I remember the first time I purchased this insurance back in 2005 it was $700.

Thanks - I'm thinking I'll pass as well and start a flat tire savings fund instead.
I wonder if their trying to make up on the 7% discount off my build.

It shouldn't. It's still an OEM wheel underneath the paint and the color does not affect the performance contemplated and due under the insurance policy.

Thanks in advance!
I paid about the same price for 3 years of insurance. I've popped 3 tires since getting the car in August. But I drive in and out of Manhattan often - plus the highway and local roads near me all have potholes.

lucky-- do you have a '17 or '16?

I paid less than $2000 for five years on a '16.

I paid $1,200 for three years of coverage from BMW with a $50 deductible three years ago but I got my car in CA. Dealers in NJ quoted $2,000 at that time for the same deal but from a non-BMW warranty. Try to shop around. on my 2011 x6, I had to replace three tires, on my 2014 x6 I replaced 1.

yea, until they decide to measure the paint and wont fix them, they replace 2 front wheels for me but didn't do the rear becuase they said the paint was too thick...Why i didn't fight... i can't remember, I highly doubt they will replace the wheel if its painted.

I got a '16. I will double check tomorrow the papers the exact. It covers the 36 month duration of the lease.

I'd fight that. Paint shouldn't void the coverage.

Sure, they would not be required to paint the wheel, but if you cracked one, I'd get them to replace it. I'd love to hear the reasons why they wouldn't cover that.
