I just installed the X5M F85 20s rims into my 35d, with Conti DWS06 275-40-20, 315-35-20. Looks terrific but is a must to have the fender flares and the spare set from bimmerzone.
I also upgraded the interior with full carbon fiber and F85 Steering wheel (trying to find the airbag was a big challenge).
Still thinking what to do with the exterior chrome ugly molding (Maybe powder coating...or $850 in new OEM set). I will be uploading car pictures next week...

I was thinking of getting rid of my standard 19" M sport wheels and getting the 20" 491m-style ones.. but F85 wheels sound great too

ebay...many months ago. I was not sure if it fit into my car, but the previous owner showed me the part number and a BMW dealership from Chicago confirmed. Airbag: Was an odyssey trying to get a new one under $500. Recommendation: First try to find the airbag, then the wheel.

Yes, sure. I paid $600 for the F85 OEM steering wheel. I found very good prices for all the parts that I installed.

Much ticker. In reality the F85 wheel looks 100% much better than the "sport" one. Same with the 20s rims (I never liked the F15 sport option except for the seats and shadowline...) that is why I got the base one with several packages (cold weather, HK audio, rear camera, premium package, surround view heated wheel, etc), and I spent some resources in upgrades that I do like. To finish with my project: I need to find the right bumpers and exhaust system...

599M on a non-M car. Had them on my outgoing F15 and they were great.

Don't want to hijack your your thread op.
I have 2014 X6 35i (E71) and want to install F85 wheels. Will they fit on my X6 without any modification? As always any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you solrac6262. But I want to install F85 wheels on 2014 X6 which is a previous model E71. As we know E53 wheels and E70 wheels were not interchangeable and I'm afraid BMW did the same with E70,71/F15,F85. If BMW has not changed the bore size from E71 X6/X5M to F85 the wheels will fit without any modification and I'm trying to get some clarification on that.

For the longest time, I wanted to swap for 599m wheels (now 491m). Tough comparison, but I'd take the F85 wheels!
