Rheingold Help/request Tja
Guys I just installed the ECE M-Steering wheel with the TJA module and now have issues getting it to work, throwing error codes...VO coded everything though saw in another thread that I need Rheingold to calibrate the module. Where do I get this from and how do I calibrate the module? Thank you so much for the help, i been trying to figure this out all day now...going crazy

Do you have a copy of Rheingold and compatible ICOM adapter handy? That's Step 1.

Rheingold ISTA/D yes, ICOM? Not familiar with the acronym. I need a different adapter then I use for FDL/VO coding? BTW do you have all the FDL coding items that need to be changed? I went through bimmerfest and saw some but is there a actually a list. I think I got the VO items that where needed... Last edited by MrTookies; 02-26-2016 at 10:23 PM.. |

You should really speak to a pro, it takes months to learn and understand how all of this stuff works. I would suggest you check with a shop that has a Autologic system, Autologic can actually code/program modules that BMW NA/BMW dealerships will refuse because the option codes are not on the build sheet.
Otherwise you need to find someone in your area willing to code your vehicle, unless you plan on spending the time to do it correctly and understand what needs to be done, there is no 'quick and dirty' method behind coding/programming these vehicles. Even if we gave you a copy of Rheingold, you need a front-end program to run it correctly, its nowhere near as simple as you think. Chris

Smart move! Trust me, I am pretty good with this stuff but even some advanced stuff I leave to people who have spent years to take the time to understand
