2017 X5 new iDrive confusion with key#

Bought a 2017 3.5 X5 MSport. I've owned other F15s but noticed that BMW really overhauled iDrive in 2017.

My car randomly asks which driver to assign the key to. I keep telling it driver 1 and then it asks again at some random time after starting. Anyone else see this?

I'm also getting a Passenger Restraint System error on most starts, that appears to need the dealer to read the code of the gremlin involved.

Love the MSport, first F15 I've had with problems from the start.
