I wasn't sure where you were going as I was reading this

I hear you about the wife. The X5 is my wife's and I convinced her to add the MPE and MPPK. At times she comments about the loudness of the MPE, but no where as much as she does when riding in my Jag!

Updated pics.

My tips were welded on so to remove I had to chop to go back to stock. So your exhaust shop will need to install a bit of 3" pipe to make your new tips slide on
