So if the X5 is space grey, I will need space grey rivets? Thank you.

I believe that the tech at the shop I used were able to re-use those rivets. I'll double check.

Seems like 21" is the perfect fitment. I saw pictures of the 22", it seems like it is running on a rubberband.

21" does seem to be a sweetspot, but 22" isn't that bad with the right rim and tire package. Here's my latest thread on the 22" X6M 310M Replicas: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...5&postcount=12

Well, if our cars all start looking the same, I'll have to spend more unnecessarily, too.

wd, I don't plan to get the CF trim pieces. I saw that you didn't get the lower CF side flaps. Any reason for that? Or they just haven't been installed yet.

BMW hasn't released them yet in Europe or the US. Q3 I've read. I have them backordered but they are the one element I'm not 100% sold on. (Also that foil on the sides - not doing that, either.)

Even worse was installing the M50d fins on the front.

Won't be doing that again for a long time.
Great looking vehicle!

Could you elaborate on this? I thought the fins were exclusive to the M50d bumper and grills? I'm interested in adding these fins to my M sport bumper if possible.

I just now noticed you mentioning this, "6WB instrument cluster and bought one"....

What exactly is this and how is it different than the cluster we get here in the states?

Awesome X5! Apparently we have the same taste, I'm identical except for the LCD screen which must be hard to get! Question for you, is the rear spoiler supposed to be black or carbon fiber? I ordered it and received it but it's black. Also, did you just use the 3m tape it came with our adhesive? Lots of luck with it!

Very nice! Any chance you know the part number for the M fender emblem? I love that size.
