HELP!!! IDrive stuck on blue flashing screen

Was starting to code the full screen CarPlay and it failed. Now idrive is stuck on blue flashing screen!

how to get out of flashing mode? The car starts, so that's good. Just seems stuck on this mode.

I'm using the utility provided by steve@codemybimmer via ENET cable. I have e-sys but don't know much about it.

I had the same situation it took me three days to fix. What I suggest that worked for me is that is possible that during the utility run the enet lost connectivity with the car so the flashing technically never finished. I suggest you run it again and hopefully the utility forces the Idrive out of the flash mode. If it doesnt work what I had to do was get a router in between the laptop and the obd port to ensure the DHCP was enabled and the car and the laptop never stopped talking and reflashed it and then it worked. Just some ideas to try.

Thank you, I will try that now. I honestly don't think it flash anything, so hopefully I don't have to do anything else. I'm waiting for code my Bimmer tech to get back to me

HOLY SHIT dude, you were right! Re-running a software fixed it!!!

Yes, if your internet connection is not stable it can causes interruptions in the process but re-running it will fix the issue.
