Yeah, lol. Just an update for everyone. My Accuair full air suspension came today in 4 boxes of varying size/weight, lol. My new X500 dual dash cam came as well

. Going to drop them off and it will begin tomorrow morning. Sunday is D-Day - hope so!

They have, thankfully. My friend has some personal stuff to take care of so car won't be ready till Monday or Tuesday.

Air bags are on. Only thing remaining:

1) Install the wiring for air suspension and set the height levels

2) Install dash cam

3) Finish re-heating all tiny areas of the Satin Chrome exterior that shrank in the cold so all corners/edges are perfect

Shooting for tomorrow for everything to be finished. Just keeping everyone posted.

. The photographer's car is also being worked on. He will be doing my photoshoot this coming weekend. My friend is custom painting his Audi A6 to a chocolate brown metallic and custom painting his 3 piece wheels to this color (you can see my suspension boxes in pics 2 and 3 and my X5 covered in the background in pic 4):

Judging by his "that's what I'm shooting for" answer, I have a feeling Wednesday morning. Two of his friends that were supposed to help him today didn't even show up. I'll be going in tomorrow myself to help him with the suspension, dash cam install, and heat gun while he tucks everything in. Sometimes, you just gotta do things yourself - something you know quite well, lol.

Yeah, but I mean guys hooked you up quite well this entire time and you know you aren't getting a weekend job back so I can appreciate the time line on builds like this.

Side note; I'll be doing my front reflectors hopefully this week too. Decided not to do the roof in gloss black leave it OEM+ plain and simple then just get power outta that N55. Once I'm happy with that we'll talk about air ride once I see yours working and what all needed to be done.

Yep, definitely. He's a good friend, so I've learned to remain patient (even though it's been 3 months now, lol). I know how difficult it is to do such mods especially when companies you order things from delay stuff further. I just miss driving my car. I'm fortunate to be able to have a spare car to drive at least.

I still have it, You did but I'm trying to get bolt ons done first. Then either piggy back a tune (safely) or custom tune it for my daily spirited driving. Which I know will cost more in the long run but I feel like a fully built N55 I'd respect more myself than just a tune and calling it a day.

UPDATE 10:
Ok, so car isn't finished yet...I know...I know...too much waiting. I apologize. I don't think dates ever work so I should stop posting them. As soon as the car is ready (whether tomorrow, Wed, or Thurs), I'll post pics as I am today.

The air suspension is almost done. Just the heights need to be programmed with the E-level/I-level system. He custom painted the air tank to match my Lollipop Blue brakes. I got a nice M Performance decal for it as well to keep that OEM feel
