X3 with a 5.0 engine?
Didn't I see somewhere in an acceleration / performance compendium someone had put together that there was a european x3 with the x5's engine? I think it would have been 2016 give or take- the acceleration time listed was what you would expect. 480 lb-ft of torque- and then you could throw a race chip on it probably...
I'd think about it if i didn't have the two big dogs to travel with. |

I guess it depends what you need and what you mean by "too small." I drove a new X3 and liked it a lot, and the room inside was enough for what I need, though of course smaller than the X5.
It's all in what you like.

I have to agree that the X5 is simply a class above the X3 all together.
I have been inside of an X3M40i and was pretty let down by the quality of materials. That being said I would probably choose a loaded 40i G05 over the upcoming X3M To me quality/luxury is a huge deal and to be real, where do you need to get to that fast living in NYC Just my personal opinion anyway
