Last FREE Maintenance & Warranty Appointment - Question?

I made my last Free Maintenance & Warranty appointment today for the end of the month. Other than the usual checks that BMW will perform, is there anything I should ask them to check for warranty purposes? I have asked them to replace the brake pads. I have 47k miles so I'm sure they'll need to be changed out.

Your thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Guess it all depends on your relationship with your SA and how much they will go out of there way to find issues. First time back in a bmw since way back during the E46 days so I didnt have a go to SA like I do for my benz, ended up going to two different dealers. I still have till december until my factory warranty expires but I wanted the peace of mind so I got a ppi done couple of months ago at dealer #1 even though I mentioned some noises here and there, all they found was a squeak on the steering wheel and replaced a part and then informed me everything else seemed ok. Noises were still there so this time my friend suggested to take it over to his dealer where he has a good relationship with his SA he put in a good word for me. Dealer #2 ended up replacing the following; wishbones , 2 corroded rotors along with 2 pads, weather liner on sunroof and side doors, car battery, climate control faulty valve (this was the big one so they say) and 1 coil along with plugs all under warranty.

Mostly ask to check for ANY leaks: all 3 oil gaskets in engine, plus TC (transfer case) and both differentials (back and front). DHP - for any leaks if you have DHP and also check rear bags for any cracks (if they are about to go). If steering column is making noise when tilting up/down and zooming. Control arms for any noise (if you are under 4 year original warranty).

I would say have your climate control taken a look at as well. I posted a thread about my problem due to weird noises coming on whenever the heat was on. It only took me 3 dealers to find and fix the problem but anything climate control related if its a big problem seems to be expensive to fix. They covered it under warranty but the invoice came out to over 2,800$

Go around the interior of your car look for broken pieces like clips or loose trim pieces.

Get an end of warranty inspection done with a trusted independent mechanic and take the list to your SA.
