Cold Weather Pkg

Ok.. For those who know and helped me build, two more questions.

In my old x5 2013, had cold weather and came with SKI bag..

Does this new cold weather come with SKI BAG?

next- The roof rails. mine will come LUX line satin roof rails. (hated the roof rails in my last x5- stuck up a bunch and looked like a mini van)

I noticed some got Lux Line and got glass black rails -- when building online you don't have this option.. (which circles me back to - does the dealer have more buttons to select details..)

I built it- online and sent to dealer to build and order- did everything via Email.

The high gloss option is not on the website but your dealer can add. I got Lux with the high gloss and love it. Make sure to tell your dealer before production starts.

F15 x5 does not come with ski bag

Does the high gloss just happen on the roof rails? or other places also?

No, the new cold weather package does not come with a ski bag. On the new X5s the center portion of the rear seats folds down independently and then BMW sells a ski bag that fits between the two seats. It sucks that it is no longer built in but it is also kind of nice because the old ski bags were rather small and only covered a portion of the skis. The new bag is basically a nice piece of luggage that is designed to fit between your car's seats - it is large enough to hold snowboards or powder skis, entirely, and has wheels with a handle. The bag also comes with a storage bag. They offer a few different versions and they're all available on amazon. I bought the "sport line" and its picture is below:
