BM3 or custom tune

I'm not looking to go full race car in the X5 35, I just want a bit more power. Warranty runs out at the end of this month and I'm almost ready to do something. Car is fully stock as it sits but will do the "basics" at a later date, I have a full on restoration project where my money is going to lol

Would you guys just do a BM3 and be done with it or get a custom tune?

BM3 certainly a very good option. But even more important make sure use the right fuel for the tune.

Ya man where I live I only have 91, I'd have to make a special trip into the city for 93 etc. This is literally going to be a basic intake, exhaust, tune kinda thing.

Also, there's a guy near me selling his bm3 for pretty cheap, how can I tell if I can use it or not? He said it's no longer associated with his car, as he crashed it.

BM3 allows for only one transfer.
first make sure the tune is compatible with your car. second assure your car can be tuned remotely to avoid sending the ECU or paying for tune service.
BM3 can confirm those information

I had bm3 worked great easy to change tunes on my 35i and ran well with the stock 93 and 91 tunes.
