Rear dash CAM on X6

Has anyone successfully installed rear dash cam on X6? I am installing Blackvue 650.

I understand I have to get the wire through the 'protection rubber' in the tailgate but the design is different from X5 and I do not know to how to do it.

Does anyone have any idea on that?

run the coax wire along the roof of the car, once u reach the tailgate area, look for the rubber accordion boot that connects the body to the tail gate. once u find the rubber boot, pop both sides out and feed the coax cable through, spray a vast amount of soapy water into the boot will help feeding the cable through tremendously. also, popping the panels off the top of the trunk will reveals holes where all the wires come out, once u fish the coax cable through, run the cable to where u want to mount the camera.

I guess that is how you do on X5. Wiring on X6 is very tricky and I haven't been able to figure out unfortunately..

it should be 99% identical for ANY cars that has a tailgate as that is the way car manufactures route wiring from the body into the tailgate for lights etc. look for a rubber boot and pop it out and fish the wire through.
