Nothing yet.... According to the service adviser all codes have an expiration and it might appear that I got one that was expired and the reason for the crash. I don't know if this is BS or legit. They are trying to get some direction from BMW on how to proceed further ( get a new code or figure out how to use the existing one ). I'm growing impatient
Hope to get my car by tomorrow....

I emailed them and they think it is very strange. I'm hoping BMW will chime in and provide a new code or something so that we can move forward with the install.

I bought my code from Jason 3 weeks ago and installed today. Everything went smooth and installed fine. It may just be your dealer not installing properly maybe?

I've only driven about 30km, and so far I've noticed better throttle response, defiently feels like it picks up faster and effortlessly, more agressive shifts in sport mode and burbles from the exhaust in sport mode as well. Sounds even better imo now with m performance exhasut and mppk

Is your RC still installed on your car? I can't wait to hear your impressions after you pick it up.

Nice. I am also interested to hear if anyone has used the RC while in very cold weather. Being stranded on the mountain does not sound like fun. Maybe its a non-issue.

so I drove around for 20 minutes with just the MPPK and so far I feel like it is similar to RC ultimate at setting C but it feels more smoother? I don't know if that makes any sense. I can feel the instant torque low end power and I really like my X5 now. I'm still contemplating if I want to add RC or not. I want to drive around with just the MPPK for a week before thinking about adding RC just to get a feel of the new tune for a bit more.

For myself, I felt the MPPK tune got better over a couple of weeks. Maybe similar to what is experienced with RC?

Hi Chem, this is what I read as well. I want to fully experience MPPK to see if the car adjusts to the tune a bit more and then slap on the RC. MPPK definitely does make your 35i feel lighter.

I removed RC before going to the dealer to have the power kit installed. I will install it later next week and see how well it works

Sweet. Glad you like it.

With all of these positive reviews it's safe to say that the MPPK is the real deal.

Kzang-did you notice the transmission shifting at a higher rpm or differently now in sport mode?

Cold weather is never the issue because the car will run lower boost during that time. It's summer weather that usually cause problems with high boost and heat soak.

Alan the shifts hold much higher in the RPM's and I can actually feel my body being pushed back into the seat when I punch it. However, I don't hear the burble on sport mode? I know you can hear this if you have the MPE installed but I have read that you can hear a slight burble without the MPE.

Alan
Chem, Alan is correct on this, Cold weather / air is our friend when it comes to turbos and tunes. It is the heat that we worry about and usually when problems exist with CEL (check engine lights). I had my RC installed all summer and I had zero issues. I'm expecting the same when I stack it on top of the MPPK. I plan to install it sometime next week so be ready for my review
