Time to sell our BMW X5 plug-in hybrid - xDrive40e model. We bought this for my wife as a middle-ground between her previous X5 and a full electric Tesla. This one has 16-20 miles of full-electric range so we figured it would be a nice step in between. Turns out it was great, and has lead to us buying a Tesla Model X. So it's time to move on.

This was a CPO car we bought just over two years ago from a dealer in Chicago. We had it shipped here from there after looking for months for the perfect color combination - Space Grey Metallic over Ivory White and Black two-tone interior. Original sticker with options was nearly $76k.

This one has all the desirable options. M-sport, premium package, driver assistance package and more.

It has 43913 on the odometer currently. We easily average over 30mpg and recently went from March to early June between fill-ups - due to our mostly local driving and the ability to plug in to charge the electric battery.

Service is up to date as of last week. We will be putting on two new rear tires prior to sale. We also have a part on order to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor - which is causing a check engine light. That work will be completed before sale as well.

We recently paid this vehicle off so we'll have a clean Kansas title in hand soon.

There is a minor accident on the history report - the right rear of the vehicle was hit by someone trying to exit a parking lot while my wife was sitting at a light. Scrapes on the right rear lead to an insurance claim and a new rear wheel.

CPO warranty is transferrable (BMW does require a fee to transfer) and is active until 4-21-2021.
