iPhone 7+ vs Samsung S8+

Hi,
It's time for me to change my iPhone 6 and wanted to get some feedback from Samsung users, never had a Samsung before, so I'm still kind of confused if switching from Apple to Android will be a good move in terms of compatibility and functionality on BMW cars.

Had a chance to "play"with a friends S8+ today, feels pretty good in your hand (maybe is the edge screen that makes it feel better) and switching from one screen to the other, or from one app to another is pretty fast, at least against my iPhone 6. Also a CNET reviews says the S8+ battery will last a lot longer since is a 3,500mAh vs 2,900mAh (and it doesn't burn.......)

So any feedback will be appreciated.

I have had the 7 edge and thought it was a great phone. I went to an iPhone 7 plus earlier this year not by choice...company mandated. We picked up a new 230 for my daughter and I got the Apple CarPlay option and I have to say I like it but mainly for the messaging. I prefer to use the BMW Navi and satellite radio. My daughter however use all the features with Apple CarPlay extensively.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm not close yet to get Apple car play since I planning to keep my F15 until the next model is released
I have heard that mirroring an android on the iDrive is easier than doing it IOS

The BMW remote app did not work for me on the Samsung S8. So maybe try it out before you switch, if you use it at all. Beside that the S8+ is a great phone.
