Drove a Lamborghini Gallardo

Holy shit that car is a beast!

I did a few laps around a local autocross with two quarter mile runs. Absolutely no body roll (im sure there is some compared to an F1 obviously but still). The engine is literally right behind your head its so loud and throttle so responsive.

But everyone who said they can't daily drive it is right. Its very cramped inside and its super stiff. Also, visibility is pretty bad in the cockpit. I think I will have to buy one some day. A Gallardo goes for less than 200k here when its got a couple years on it.

I can relate to your feeling. I drove a Huracan two weeks ago around our local track (LCMT). What an impressive machine .

The Huracan I can understand but the gallardo (sans super trofeo) is a horrible handler. It's a loud straight line douche mobile.

Then I cant even imagine what the huracan will be like

I thought it handled the turns very well although my drive was pretty short.

Hopefully I will be able to upgrade to a lambo/ferrari one day

Next car for me is maserati gt!

Please bypass the Maserati and save your money for a better car!

Just wait till you drive a Ferrari it makes the gallardo feel like a dump truck. I would agree with others about skipping the Maserati. Either save your cash or get a Porsche in the mean time.

Or get a Z06, save tons of money, and absolutely shit all over those other cars.

there was a reason why the Gallardo was their all time best seller. just don't get a early model.

that's not a fair comparison. nonetheless I'd imagine average drivers would have fun in either car. People get so wrapped up in what's the fastest car on paper, get what you want and drive the piss out of it.

The earlier cars are a bit disappointing once you get past that dazzling engine. Brittle ride, unwieldy in feel, and e-Gear holds the car back.

I have recently had a few nice drives in a '14 LP550-2 Spyder my dealer has, and quite enjoy it. Though it is e-Gear, the lack of driven front wheels really makes the car feel more lively and athletic, and the power bump over the earlier model is noticeable and appreciated.

I would do terrible things to have a manual Balboni.

I have a Huracan and honestly it's kind of boring. I love the way it looks and the way it sounds with a good exhaust, but it just doesn't excite me. I'm on the list to get back in a 991 GT3.

I have friends who own and have owned Gallardos, it's a nice car but pretty dated at this point.
