Hi everyone, I have a 2016 X5M and am considering the Dinan S1 package. Has anyone installed it? How do you like it?

Depends what you are looking for, I had it, liked it, until I had my DME tune then understood dinan was a waste for me.

What are you trying to achieve?

Dinan is not ecu it's a piggy back type a deal, MO's goes to your dme

Have you been to Atco since you got your DME tune? Curious what your 1/4 mile time is now.

Wasn't at atco but ran 11.6

I'm not planning on going back to Atco anytime soon. I consistently run 11.9.

I am not trying to get that much more performance. I want to make it drive and feel more special than the "average" X5M, like you would get with M performance parts.

As I live in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, there aren't that many tuning choices. My BMW dealer coule fit the Dinan parts.

DME uses sedox performance software , their pretty good , have dealers in the uk as well

I have the Dinantronics Stage 1, and I'm very happy with it. My X5M does 11.9 in the 1/4 mile. Not as fast as some others, but still faster than stock, and still covered under the factory/Dinan warranty.
