Poor Boys is behind the times. They were greatly 12-15 years ago. As a professional detaier attempt to advise your high end clientele that you are using a product called 'Poor Boys' It will go over like a lead balloon.

As long as the product works which it has for me it's ok. Look at megiars m105/205 combo. Been out for a long time and even with new tech a lot of detailer's still use it

Someone told me once to find a product (line) that you like and works, and use it often. For a while, I just kept on buying. I must have had thousands of dollars in detailing products. If I wanted to, I could probably pick five that I use 99% of the time. The rest is just collecting dust.

Personally, for wheels, I only use two things: soap and water as part of the weekly car washing routine, and if they are VERY dirty, just use P21S. I bought the 5L jug and I've been using it for years and years. Still the safest option if I you have nice wheels.

That's odd. We have it here in Canada.

Its actually readily available. I've been using it for years to clean off wax over spray on black plastic trim. Just got another bottle on Amazon a few weeks ago.
Really brightens the plastic up. Never thought of it for wiping down the wheels. I think I did see that discussed on Autopia's site.

Great stuff to use when selling a car used. Makes all the black look like new. I just wish it would last longer though.

So true on the build up of detailing products. I use P21s for my final two layers on top of the menzerza powerlock but thats for a little glossy zap. It doesn't last very long so on the wheels I can't see it lasting very long as its only pure carnauba wax.

Maybe if one lives in CA or Fl type climates.

I do like the ceramic coating "do it yourself " on the wheels tip.

Ok, I just looked the P21S up on Amazon. I see P21S also makes a jug of wheel cleaner for $23.95!

Note: not great on the reviews. Some say doesn't work like the vid and we still have to scrub.
It does say its not harsh.

Speaking of harsh, have you ever seen what some of the wheel cleaners do to your seal coating or blacktop after you pull your car out of the driveway. Those can't be good for the alloy finish.

Watched the vid. thx. Side note: the guy looks white, but has the blackest accent/voice I've ever heard. He sounds like Eminem . . . Wus up wit dis?

Ya, it takes the dust off alrighty, but a product that is 10-15 years old probably does it by being very acidic to the alloy wheels?

I'll have to check out the ingredients and I agree with the other poster on getting your luxury car bill for detailing and the product they used also sounds like a sandwich or it was made in a "still" in the Ozarks

Speaking of Ozarks . . . if you have Netflix watch their original new series "Ozark" produced and starred in by Justin Bateman. The first episode is going to suck u in to watching all 10!

I used this product BMW Genuine Alloy/Steel Wheel Rim Cleaner Spray (83 12 2 298 196)

The wheel rim cleaner is a liquid, alkaline special agent. It quickly and sparingly removes stubborn oxidation residue, brake dust and encrusted road dirt. The product's consistency achieves optimum effect. The product is acid-free and suitable for all types of original BMW aluminium light alloy and steel rims. Content: 500 ml.

Only $96 plus $5 shipping on Amazon. I might pay that if the kit came with a tart in a bikini who applies the product for us

From what I've read simple green has altered their formula over the years to be more environmental safe. Google: wiki simply green
With these sprays though its not only your tires you have to worry about, its your lungs too!

I buy these inexpensive respirators to use when using spray aerosols or when spraying various products like fantastic etc.
I use them when using bleach or products. Or when spraying simply green or bleche white on my tires. Or when spraying down my shower/bath tubs with cleaners.

Most of these products are very harsh. When you spray them a minute or two later you hose them off and "brown" oxidation flows off of the tires . . . That ain't Ivory soap doing that!

Masks are cheap lung insurance.

These in the link below are 95% effective. I have more expensive ones that are 100% effective that I picked up when the SARS scare was around and I still use them on planes or buses as soon as I hear someone coughing near me.

There are cheaper sites to buy the 100% effective ones.

Thx
Here is the product I use. Car Pro Iron X (link below)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FE...8CL&ref=plSrch

Spray on, wait for it to turn purple, and rinse off.

No scrubbing necessary!

Recently purchased Chemical Guys Decon Pro Iron Remover. Have not given it a try yet, but is suppose to work like Iron X.

Review of the Gyeon Wheel Brush:
Yep, its a great wheel brush alrighty
Came yesterday and used it on 8 wheels tonight. Just used some car soap in a bucket of water, sprayed them down, brushed them around with the long handle model brush and hosed them off.

They were not that dirty this time, just brake dust but that brush had me knocking off the 8 wheels in 10 minutes

You paint a very pleasant picture with your comment

But I would recommend "a Bidet".
I hear they are very popular for the West Coast's overly sensitive Tushies

On the East Coast we like our T.P. "rough" we avoid anything too snow-flaky.

Chemical Guys Signature Series Wheel Cleaner. Have been using it for a while on the 612 wheels and the finish is intact, so its the rubber on the MPSS tires.

Just be sure to dilute 4:1 ratio, apply it and the scrub with a soft brush and rinse.
