Lowering Options for 2014 X5 Xdrive Standard Suspension

Hi guys - just bought an X5 after owning a pretty modded 335i coupe.

I'm looking at putting on 22s and dropping this ride. What has everyone been doing for lowering options on standard suspension?
The only options I know about are below:

KW V3s - super pricey
H&R front springs **This kit is only for vehicles WITH self leveling suspension only.**

Let me know if anyone has any guidance.

Thanks in advance

AC Schnitzer has been working well for me, I'm on 21's.

Ride is pretty decent in LA roads.

@surfcali , I can get you H&R, Eibach, or AC Schnitzer.
But I suggest AC Schnitzer or Eibach since you live in West LA.
We also do install in house.

r33_RGSport are these all spring only setups? For rear suspension as well?

Also - for 22" tires, seems like choices are limited.

295 30 22 seems to be the most common size - can i run square tiresetup with a spacer (run 11" wheel in the back)?

Yes, those are for all springs setup.

For tires, 295 on 11" width may be looks stretched.
If you want to go that route, I suggest to get the same width and offset as the front and run spacer.

thanks so much for the advice -

For wheels and tires, I'm going to be running:

Front: 22x10.5 +20
Rear: 22x10.5 +35
Pirelli Scorpion Zero 295/30/22

Still not sure about suspension setups - how will springs hold up long term? how's the ride etc.? Never been a fan lowering with just springs. Might just have to splurge for the v3s...

I personally never kept my car longer than 5 years, but I have seen a customer been using Eibach or H&R for over 15 years and it has been fine.
If you are concern about ride quality, your best bet will be Eibach or AC Schnitzer.

You can't go with KW V3 since it is only available for X5/X6 with self-leveling rear suspension.

Thanks for all of the advice - look out for my order after my wheels get in. I'm actually super sad now that I can't slam my X5 comfortably....
Can you PM me for prices on Eibach? Didn't see that on your site.
I had H&R springs on oem susp on my 335 and hated it - switched to ST coilovers after a few months. I love the low look though. ACS probably my best bet - but maybe I should give you a call to discuss options. Appreciate it r33_RGSport

For future forum reference:

AC Schnitzer
lowering FA ca. 20 - 30mm
lowering RA ca. 15 - 25mm

Eibach
Lowering front: 25 mm
Lowering rear: 25 mm

H&R
Drop Level 1.5" Front - 1.6" Rear

on the phone w/ KW right now and they are going to order the KW V3 set for standard suspension (non-air rear suspension, and no edc) from Germany - still 10 days for $150 rebate!

V3 setup exists for standard suspension! WOOO!

Part Number 352200BJ
KW Coilover Kit V3
X5 (F15), X6 (F16) without air suspension, non-EDC

No way!!! I am jealous.
They didn't want to do it when I have my car. SMH.

Good call on the KW's. I have the ACS springs/links (rear air) on my F15, and its not quite low enough though for my taste. Given the choice now, I should've opted for H&R or sprung for coils.

I've attempted to get this setup but KW wasn't able to deliver. Not sure why. This is why I opted for just springs.

Good luck.

I waited for over a month and gave up.

The ACS springs actually ride really nice.
