Does the Rear M3/4 Carbon Ceramic Caliper Fit Stock Rear F85/6 Rotor?
Hey everyone,
My rear brakes have worn out and I'm due for new pads and possibly rotors. Im wondering if I could purchase the F80/2/3 M3/4 CCB Caliper for the rear with the gold finish and use them with the stock F85/6 Rear rotors and pads that fit. Im not a fan of how BMW doesn't have a proper rear brake mainly for looks but also would be nice to have a better performing rear brake as an added bonus and have them painted to match. Now I know that you could just purchase a full brembo kit but that would cost around $3500 for the pads caliper and rotor and just have it painted. But the CCB caliper costs about $600 per wheel for the rears and I would like the rotors to match the front and rear rather then have them look off with a different look in the front vs rear. So essentially what I'm trying to find out is if I could purchase the rear CCB caliper with pads to fit for steel rotors and either keep or purchase a new stock steel rotor if its warped and worn down and if there is anything extra that i may need to fit the caliper on the car? Heres the part number for the rear CCB caliper: 34217850465

I have the F86 Ive seen your work on the E71 online and on instagram i just never knew who did it. Im looking to do exactly the same thing as the E71, where you use steel rotors and the rear CCB caliper. Any ideas how this can be done? Amazing work you guys have done by the way. Thanks, V

Change the base (the height of the fastening) and change the depth of the caliper to a large disk. make adapters and color the caliper so, after that we have rear axies set. here my 535D rear axies http://tro-nik.ru/works/bmw535drear/ |

Racing brake sells the CCB kit front and rear with two piece rotors and pads with appropriate adapters to fit. I would hit up their website and message them.
