Advice for USB activation Apple Carplay
I'm new here, I'm having next week X6 F16 2019 3.0d with touchscreen but no apple car play, I checked on Bimmer-Tech's online with my vin and it says is available for USB activation but cost $399.99 and I found another site calls easyusbcoding.com and cost around $89.99 and they said can be activated by USB as well, my question is why the price range is so high? and does anybody had experience with both companies in term of customer service ? I check both. companies on Truspilot but no luck.
Thanks in advanced for your advice, here is some pics of my new family member |

Be careful, pending your last iLevel update (Nov 2018 onwards) installing Apple Carplay using a BIN file via USB will not be possible. I suggest you get your local dealer to install it using an OEM FSC code. It will be more expensive but you will run into problems in the future should they do ECU updates when it goes for routine servicing or potential repairs should one of the ECU's linked the radio fails.
