Used tires?
What sizes? If 21" there are no all season options in OEM specs. Probably help if you provided more details about what you are looking for/what you need. Edit - looks like you updated your post above to include tire sizes. Those tire sizes are typically only available in summer or winter tires, no all seasons. Some people drop down a size (275/315) to get into all seasons, otherwise have dedicated summer and winter setups. I do see Discount Tire has a Continental all season option in 325/30/21, but no corresponding front tire. 21's look awesome but tire options have always been very limited. I’m doing some digging and it appears that there is one All Season tire option available for the F85 X5M when sticking with the stock rear tire size (325/30/21) but paired with one size smaller front tire (275/35/21 vs the stock 285/35/21).
The Continental ProContact RX I have no familiarity with this tire at all, but if this works - it appears this may be at least ONE A/S option for F85 X5M owners. On this topic, for those more familiar… would there be any concerns with the factory BMW hardware/software with running a front tire that’s 1% smaller in diameter while retaining the same diameter rear? https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tir...1#read-reviews Last edited by sirdaft1; 05-01-2024 at 09:49 PM.. |

There also appears to be a Chinese (?) all-season tire called the Accelera Iota ST68 that makes the factory tire sizes, however the 285/35/21’s seem to be out of stock at the moment - at least on the one website I could find them. But they do appear to have 275/35/21s in stock.

I'm on my second set of Accelera Iota ST68's. I don't need winter tires in Texas, but PS4S don't inspire a lot of confidence in our mild winters either. If there were a different option I'd try it, but the Iota is still the only game in town for all seasons for this size. They aren't great in standing water. They are better than PS4S. But it's still a less than ideal tire at the end of the day.
Good news is that we are out of our winter/rainy season and I can switch back to PS4S now. |
