Purchase Order for New 2015 X5M

I just sold my 2013 X5M. So today I talked to my agent today, and I started my new Purchase Order for the new 2015 X5M. He said if I start the paperwork now I could get inline for the first allocated slots. We used the old price for the 2013 X5M with a projected $4100 mark up. Went with some of the option off the 2014 X5 5.0 model, I was told when they get new information on new X5M I can update my Purchase Order. I went with:

Mineral White Met
Terra Dakota Interior
Driver Assistance +PKG
Executive PKG
Lighting PKG
Nappa Leather Dashboard
Carbon Trim

I doubt us who ordered a F15 5.0i will get ours by then - so seriously considering canceling and going with a 2015 x5m instead

I will tell you the wait will be worth it. The only reason I would consider choose an X5 5.0 over X5M is because you can get the 3rd Row seating. I owned a 2013 X5 3.5 had for week, knew I wanted the X5M,trade it in for X5M, huge difference, loved the X5M took a $2k hit on trade in though. I know the two are very close (X5 5.0-X5M) why buy the 5.0 when deep down you want the X5M. I learn my lesson, pay the extra $10k-$15k and get what you want, not talking about anyone on board but you will be trying to turn your X5 5.0 into X5M with mods and body kits....Just buy the X5M! "Once you go ///M you will not go back."

I still waiting to see if they put the third row in the 2015 x5m. The e70 had a different rear suspension carrier which would not allow for he third row. The new F15 has a new rear suspension so there is hope that the third row will be available this time. I can only hope and pray.

Interesting. I will definitely consider the X5M if it comes out before August 2014.

Found out today that it is August 2014. August is Estimate Deliver Date( EDD).

This is the thread I need to be in! My 2013 X5M was just totaled in a hit and run so this is what my replacement will be. August 2014 is a hell of a wait though! I wonder if I start the process now, can I get all those holiday incentives like they're offering now?

August is great for me. I'm currently living in Alaska, and don't want to bring my new X5M here. This is the reason I sold my 2013 X5M. I got a average interest rate 2.0%. Thought I could get better, but I'm happy. Yeah...I'm buying mine. I just can not see leasing.

So sorry to hear about your X5M being totaled! Hard to replace something like that, and now you have to wait almost a year for the new one.

I received a garbled VM today from one of the local dealers. Something about ordering an X5 M as the will be "coming along soon".
I didn't call back yet as I figured it was just a "stay in contact" thing.

Anyone hear anything more positive on production beginning?

BMW has recently stated both the X6m and X5M would be delivered in fall. Interesting since the new body X6 hasn't come out yet but seems the X6M will immediately be avail when new body X6 comes out
