Bad Future for Diesel Cars, Autonomous Cars in 2021

The CEO of Volvo predicts an end to diesel cars in the EU after 2020 due to tightening emissions limits and improved electric and hybrid cars. Truly self driving cars to be available from 2021 but significantly more expensive than conventional models, as much as double according to VW. My Take: At twice the price a self driving car is a sure buy for mobility providers like Uber as eliminating the driver pays for itself quickly and improves service.
