She's almost ready...
The family hauler is up for replacement - here's the build - production ending tomorrow according to the phone system.
How long do these take from production end to a midatlantic dealer?

Mine spent a week in "Production begins" and 4 days in "Finishing Touches" (which I think really means shipping). I would expect it to be at the dealer by end of next week.

Quite a while back actually - late December. My order sat in status 047 for a very long time - which has something to do with allocations or lack thereof.
It finally went in to status 112 - order accepted by BMW - in early Feb and actual production 4 days ago.

Still don't understand why customers in US (and Canada?) can get access to the status of the order and when its going into production while over this side of the pond we get the square root of absolute zero
What is it with BMW??? |

I see everyone posting status numbers for there orders..when i track my car i don't see any status numbers. All I see is "Order Documented". Should i be looking somewhere else?

I've only ever gotten status from my sales rep. The online and phone systems only give general phases of the order - documented, in production, etc.

Ask your CA "Client Advisor." For some reason, they have a way of running a production status report that's different than the info you get from (800) 831-1117 BMW NA.

If you google BMW production status codes you'll find some posts with the codes and what they mean. Customer service won't generally give you the numbers, they're more for internal use.
