Congrats! Solid build! The waiting is a killer haha. Also what made you go with the 50i instead of the 35i?

I was originally going for the 35i and my build was up around $81k+. I was able to get a monthly lease rate I can work with based on that build. Then I started to look at the options and asked myself what am I really going to use/appreciate?

So I ditched DHP for M-sport suspension, removed LEDs even though they look cool (I really don't drive at night), removed DAP+ (added surround view) and changed to 50i. I was able to keep the same monthly payment with an extra thousand down. Also, I have a 2013 550 right now and I enjoy the extra power when I need it. Lastly, I have not had an SUV for a long time so I am a little unsure. I know the 50i looks the same as the 35i but I am thinking the v8 will get me thru the next 3 years.

I am still second guessing myself on the switch but I am just going with it.

What made you go with the 50i?

I test drove all three models 35i 50i and the M. I fell in love with M but I couldn't justify the price difference between the 50i and the M. The 35i to me felt so underpowered to me as the same as you I am coming from a F10 550. So to me the 50i m-sport with the DHP is the closest thing to fill the itch for the M. I never driven an X5 with the DHP but from other forum members it seems like it's amazing. Hopefully I made the right choice too.

The M is awesome. I was really hoping the dealer would blow out one of the '15s they had in stock. Unfortunately the discounted price was still around $93k. I didn't drive the M only sat in it but it just felt right.

I am sure you will be very happy with DHP. Hopefully this time next week you will be driving it.

The good news is from completion to dealer up here in Boston is usually less than a week, so hopefully will have it the week of the 9th sometime!

Question for you I see on your build that it doesn't say the 20inch wheels did you select them and there not just appearing on the track my BMW website or did you opt for the 19inch. Cause I added the 20's on mine and it doesn't show on track your BMW I'm just hoping this is the way the system is? Thanks.

My last order for an X3 was like that, it was an existing order that was changed and website never was quite right on options and interior color was wrong. I called the 800 number and had them go through everything with me and it was correct, but website never seems to get late changes.

Overall the tracking on the website isn't great and is no better now than it was in 2007 when I ordered my e93!

Yea the site rarely gets it right. As long as your VIR is right you will be fine.

Surprisingly the site is correct on mine, its the first time I ordered one and the site was correct lol.
