Lol yes it turns off. That would be rediculous if it didn't.

PS my steering wheel gets pretty hot after about 5 min. What bothers me is that there is no indication on the dashboard that steering wheel heater is engaged. I mean with all this empty room would be nice to have it.

Dash notification was included on the 16+ I believe.
F15 wheel is a toasty one.

I have 2017 , and yes, notification comes on for a brief few sec and disappears. I prefer symbol to stay.
