Hill descent activates when turning off parking sensor.

Has anyone else ran into this issue, when turning off your parking sensor, hill descent activates for no reason? My 4 year is about to expire so debating whether I should take it in and try to get it fixed under warranty.

It never hurts to claim things while the warranty is in place...

Maybe the previous owner. I haven't spilled anything. I asked my SA but he said it might not be covered. Maybe I will try popping the buttons out and see if I see anything.

Agreed. take it in and have it documented. Not sure why it wouldn't be covered?

If it ends up being an issue other than a manufacturer defect you pay diagnosis. If no physical damage to the switches and no moisture, probably good to take it in. Hopefully not caused by a rodent further down the line or any aftermarket electrical work.

Like on the surface it doesn't look like anything should be wrong. My SA said he's gonna talk to the shop manager and get back to me.

It's typical BMW Canada - nothing is covered and they don't give a crap.
